TEA EXPERIMENT
KABO
A tea château created in harmony with nature
ABOUT
THE PROJECT
We aim to create a unique, purpose-driven tourist destination — a modern tea château where tea grows in harmony with the forest, reimagined through biophilic design, permaculture, and syntropic farming.

This is a place where conscious travelers and impact-driven investors can support the development of nature-based solutions to protect our soil, prevent coastal erosion, and inspire sustainable ways of living and traveling.

It’s a living example of circular economy, community resilience, and ecological harmony — where people work with nature for mutual benefit.

EXPERIENCE

A sensory and cultural journey into a new way of living in harmony with nature.

Set in the coastal region of Aveiro, Portugal, our 3-hour experience blends the ancient wisdom of Chinese tea rituals with Portuguese heritage, regenerative farming, food, culture, and artistic expression.

LIVING SYSTEMS IN ACTION

Step into a world where nature leads the way. These are more than methods

— they are living systems, shaping how we grow, build, and belong.

Each one offers a new lens to see the world and to in harmony within it.

WHY TEA?
One of our founders participated in this revival in Ukraine (ex-owner of Tea House "Chaguan") and brings her expertise in building tea businesses. With global tea company partners, its own plantation, factory, and 33 tea houses worldwide, we offer unmatched knowledge in tea cultivation, processing, distribution, and hospitality.

Portugal, with its long-standing tea-growing tradition on the islands and favorable climate, is an ideal place to grow this culture further. But we go beyond tradition: by applying nature-based techniques that create optimal humidity, temperature, and soil conditions, we aim to produce premium-quality tea while restoring soil health, fighting erosion, and supporting biodiversity. Our method doesn’t just exploit the land — it heals and protects it.
Like wine, premium tea is an art — requiring expert cultivation, skilled brewing, and a refined sensory experience. Traditional tea ceremonies, especially those from ancient Chinese culture, reveal the depth and complexity of high-quality tea through multiple infusions — a ritual practiced for over 1,000 years.

Tea culture, which spread from ancient China around the world, is now enjoying a modern revival. About a decade ago, a new wave began in post-Soviet countries, where tea houses and ceremonial gatherings flourished. Today, this movement is expanding to Western Europe, with new tea spaces opening in cities like Amsterdam and Barcelona.
